Bobo Omotayo has 16 years of startup experience in various communications domains. He co-founded one of West Africa's leading Public Communications consultancies. Bobo transformed the company from a two-man operation to a fully structured agency with distinct business operations that serves some of the world's most recognizable companies, including Coca-Cola, Guinness, Nike, and others.
Bobo's team has won multiple industry honors, including the 2018 CCA honors (Best in Entertainment PR for The Wedding Party), the 2019 ADVAN Digital Marketing Awards for Coca-Cola's #Mamadimama campaign, and the 2019 Drum Experience Awards UK (Event of The Year - Guinness Nigeria's Flavour Rooms).
Bobo is a passionate cultural custodian who founded FUJI: A Opera, a dynamic entertainment platform dedicated to reimagining indigenous West African music for a contemporary audience. Since its debut in 2020, it has hosted successful exhibitions and concerts for over 50,000 people and 1 million engaged online audiences. In August 2023, the platform launched into the United Kingdom with a captivating pop-up exhibition at The Africa Centre, London.
FUJI: A Opera has been featured in several publications, including the BBC, The Times, LBC Radio, Hypebeast, and NPR.
Bobo is also a published author, with two best-sellers, London Life and Lagos Living (2011) and Honorable (2013). One of his works has been adapted for the stage, with three runs.
